Early curve separationResolved

Separation before most of the weight loss had occurred is the most interesting mechanistic observation in the trial, and it should be reported without the article picking a mechanism. SelectTrialSam (talk) 09:40, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Four candidate mechanisms listed, none endorsed, and the trial explicitly said to be silent on which. ✓ Done ForestPlotFinn (talk) 13:15, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Resolved. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.

Discontinuation rate in the summaryDone

16.6% versus 8.2% belongs in every summary of this trial and is routinely omitted. Good that it is in the table and repeated in the closing section. BalanceBirdie (talk) 10:25, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

It is the other side of an outcome benefit and a reader deciding what the trial means needs both. ✓ Done SafetySignalSid (talk) 14:00, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

Done. This thread is closed. Reopening it is fine if new sources appear; please add a new subsection rather than editing the closed discussion.

NNT arithmetic

Computing the NNT from the absolute risk difference is helpful but the time horizon must be attached to it or it is meaningless. It is, here. NNT_Nerys (talk) 11:05, 14 June 2026 (UTC)

And the reasoning is at Number needed to treat for anyone who wants to check it. PlainNumbersPip (talk) 14:40, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
