Pore size is a conventionResolved
Good that the article says 0.45 μm is a compendial convention and retention is probabilistic. People treat filtration as an absolute barrier. — NewLabNell (talk) 09:45, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
It also explains why the chapter is framed as a test rather than as proof, which ties back to the statistical section on the main article. ✓ Done — EndotoxinEd (talk) 13:20, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
Reference to compounding chapter
The compounding chapter is cited but not discussed. Is that citation carrying its weight, or should it move to 503A compounding pharmacy? — Compounding_Cate (talk) 10:30, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
It is doing modest work here as the place a reader would go for sterile-preparation practice. I would keep it in further reading terms rather than expanding on it. — FiveOhThreeA (talk) 14:05, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
