Worth noting the β-glucan point — the crab lysate responds to glucans as well as endotoxin, which is a source of false positives that rFC avoids. — NewLabNell (talk) 10:45, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Absence of the determination
Good that the article says the absence of an endotoxin figure is not evidence of a problem. Research material is not a parenteral product and is not held to that standard. — BalanceBirdie (talk) 11:35, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
