Upstream versus retail: is this the same kind of article?Resolved
This organisation sells amino acid derivatives, resins and custom synthesis to laboratories. The other nineteen articles are about entities selling finished vials to individuals. Grouping all twenty as "peptide suppliers" flattens a distinction that explains most of the documentary differences between them. — — CDMO_Caradoc (talk) 11:08, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
The category tree already has Category:Contract manufacturers as a subcategory of Category:Peptide suppliers, which is exactly this distinction. This article should sit in both; the retail entities in the parent only. — — ParentCatPansy (talk) 14:33, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
Support, and the first sentence should make the position explicit — "upstream of", or "supplier to the sector rather than a retailer within it". A reader who does not grasp that will misread the whole article. — — ScopeSeverin (talk) 09:51, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
Categorisation fixed and the framing sentence added to the lead. ✓ Resolved — — CDMO_Caradoc (talk) 10:16, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
